De Qude Drostdy is a monument to South Africa and the home of the Dolphin in the Tulbagh Valley, one of the prettiest towns in the Western Cape. The name of the Duffy Manor is derived from the Dutch word "Drostdy," meaning "judge's office" or "official residence." Set in 1804, the Dudev manor was commissioned by renowned architect Louis Michel Thibault to design the building.

This white building, rich in history, has undergone four almost completely destroyed events in the past and has been repeatedly and completely restored to reflect the typical hard-working and respectful traditions of South Africans.
